My duty as a fugitive hunter is making sure the suspect is taken into custody before putting a single resident in harm’s way. This week we were told that a certain gang member was on the loose after shooting several rival members and hurting some innocent bystanders as a result of his violent outbursts. When you are dealing with a gang member who has no regard for the safety of any citizen, he needs to be apprehended now.
The trouble with hunting a gang member is that they have a huge network of people who are going to hide and protect them from capture. It becomes a game with these game members, seeing how long they can keep us from discovering the whereabouts of the fugitive. My team was tired of playing games with these gang members, and instead of them trying to hide our suspect, I decided to take matters into our hands and get him before he could hurt anyone else.
My team took a drive to the local prison, this is where a large population of gang members are currently residing. They knew immediately why we were there, and they didn’t offer up anything as far as information, but that was all part of my plan. They were irritated, and when they get angry, they hit the phones and they can not help but complain. Securus Technologies has been responsible for the installation of the phone monitoring system in that jail, allowing my team to listen to these gang members talking to those on the outside.
It wasn’t long after we got all those nasty stares in the yard that one gang member was telling his brother to get a message to our suspect to step up the violence. We decided to tail that brother, and when he did eventually find the suspect, we were able to take him in.
